Why render on the farm

Send your scene to a cloud GPU farm and keep working while it renders. You see the cost before it starts, and you pay only for the time the job actually took.

Quoted before it renders

We measure your scene and show the credit cost up front. Credits are held when you submit, then settled against the GPU time actually used, and the difference is refunded automatically.

The right GPU, automatically

Frames render on RTX 4090 workers, stepping up to RTX 5090 when your scene needs more than 24 GB of VRAM. smart_auto keeps cost down; ultra_fast fans frames out across workers for speed.

Frames back into Blender

The addon packages your scene, uploads it, and pulls the finished frames back into your project. Download links stay live for 72 hours and open with no login.

Built for real render work

Godray offloads your Blender renders to a cloud GPU farm, so your own machine stays free. You see a quote before anything renders, and it settles against the time the job actually took.

Render Credits

Pay only for the compute you use. One credit is one minute of farm GPU time — no subscription, no idle GPUs. You see a quote before anything renders, and it settles against what the job actually took.

Asked
Questions

Credits, GPUs, and what happens to your files.

Ask us something else

What exactly is a credit?

One minute of aggregate GPU time on the render farm, priced at $0.1429. Credits are not frames: a job is quoted from your scene's measured render time, so a fast EEVEE shot and a heavy Cycles shot cost what they actually use. As a reference point, 500 frames of 1080p / 64-sample Cycles on a 4090 settles at roughly 40 credits.

Is there a subscription?

No. You buy credit packs — $10 for 70, $20 for 140, $50 for 350 — and render until they run out. There is no monthly commitment and nothing to cancel.

Do my credits expire?

Never. Credits stay on your workspace balance until you spend them, including the free ones. We removed the expiry mechanism entirely rather than setting a long date, so this cannot change quietly.

What if the render takes longer or shorter than the quote?

We hold the quoted credits when the job is submitted, then settle against the GPU time actually measured and return the difference automatically. If a job fails or you cancel it, the hold is released in full. You get an email with the numbers the moment it settles.

Do I pay while my job waits for a GPU?

No. Billing starts when your frames start rendering, not when the job enters the queue. A job that waits eleven seconds for a worker and renders for fourteen is billed for fourteen.

How long can I download my frames?

72 hours from the moment the render settles. The settlement email carries a download link you can forward — it needs no Godray account and no login, and it stops working when the window closes.

What happens to my .blend file?

It is deleted from our storage as soon as the render that used it finishes. Your scene does not sit in a bucket afterwards; only the rendered frames stay, for the 72-hour download window.

Which GPUs and render engines do you run?

NVIDIA RTX 4090 and RTX 5090 workers, with Cycles and EEVEE. Choose smart_auto to render chunks one after another at the lower cost, or ultra_fast to fan them out across several workers at once when you need the frames back sooner.

Do I get any free credits?

Yes — 20 credits when you create a workspace, which is enough for your first cloud render. Credits are pooled per workspace, so a studio or a classroom shares one balance.

How do I send you my scene?

Through the Godray addon for Blender: it packages your scene, uploads it, shows you the quote before anything renders, and pulls the frames back into your project. There is also a plain HTTP API if you would rather script it.

How do I get help?

Send us a message through the contact page and include your workspace name and the job id from your settlement email — that is enough for us to find the exact render.
